Will there be a wedding ceremony?

We've made a slight change to our original plans, so if you think this section has changed, you are correct!

After some soul searching, we've decided to include all of our guests by having a short but sweet wedding ceremony at Gibsons on Saturday night.

Is there a gifts registry?

Your love and support mean the world to us; no other gifts are necessary.

What should I wear?

Both Friday and Saturday nights will be dressy casual.

For Friday evening, we've chartered a boat that will have both indoor (climate-controlled) and outdoor space. If you'd like to hang outside, a jacket or coat might be advisable.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but have decided to keep this weekend an adults-only event except for immediate family. We encourage you to use this time for some date nights!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where should I stay?

We do not have any hotel blocks, but a list of several hotel recommendations can be found on the Travel page. We generally recommend staying in Chicago’s Gold Coast or River North neighborhoods, from which our events will be walkable.

What's on the menu for Friday night?

Light bites (seafood with some vegetarian options) and dessert will be served aboard the boat. Open bar? Duh.

Why don't I need to select a meal option for Saturday night when RSVP-ing?

You'll be able to select one of three meal options (steak, fish, and vegetarian) the night of the event at Gibsons. If you have dietary restrictions the restaurant should be aware of, you can let us know ahead of time via the RSVP form.
