Will there be a wedding ceremony?

We are opting to forego a traditional wedding ceremony in favor of a small courthouse wedding, but would still love to celebrate the start of our new life together with our family and closest friends.

What happened to my save the date in the mail?

So sorry! We heard square envelopes needed extra postage, but when we checked with USPS, they insisted the cute floral stamps they gave us would work perfectly (insert melting face emoji here). But, maybe it will be fun if you happen to get another surprise save the date in the mail mid-May?

Is there a gifts registry?

Your love and support (and possibly covering the 46 cents USPS might request due to our postage faux pas) mean the world to us; no other gifts are necessary.

What should I wear?

Both Friday and Saturday nights will be dressy casual.

For Friday evening, we've chartered a boat that will have both indoor (climate-controlled) and outdoor space. If you'd like to hang outside, a jacket or coat might be advisable.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but have decided to keep this weekend an adults-only event except for immediate family. We encourage you to use this time for some date nights!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where should I stay?

We do not have any hotel blocks, but a list of several hotel recommendations can be found on the Travel page. We generally recommend staying in Chicago’s Gold Coast or River North neighborhoods, from which our events will be walkable.
